Ports are hosted connectors into real business software — not a catalog of every MCP server, and not a process you keep running on a laptop.
02 — Connect
Connect the account in Toolports
Sign in, then connect that tool from the dashboard (Intuit OAuth for QBO). Tokens stay on the host. The agent does not complete that step by itself.
03 — Point
Aim the agent at /mcp
Paste https://{port}/mcp and Authorization: Bearer tp_live_… from the dashboard. For QBO that URL is https://qbo.toolports.com/mcp. Reads are on. Writes stay gated until you opt in.

What is a Toolports “port”?
A hosted MCP connector with a stable subdomain. Ports are connectors into real business software — not a marketplace of every MCP server, and not a local process you have to keep running.
How is this different from Intuit or Claude’s free QBO connector?
That free single-company connector is a good fit if it already covers you. Toolports is a hosted port per tool: you Connect the account in the dashboard, then the agent uses a Bearer key. Reads are the default.
Can agents write to QuickBooks?
Reads are on by default. Writes are gated — you opt in when you want an agent to create or change records. Safer for production books.
Is Jobber (or ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro) live?
No. The live product page is qbo.toolports.com. The live agent URL is https://qbo.toolports.com/mcp. Field service is next. We will not pretend those connectors exist yet.
How does pricing work?
Flat monthly per connected org. Not usage-metered tool calls. QBO early access is $29/mo after a 14-day trial, listed on the QBO page.
Do you support HIPAA or dental on day one?
No. We are starting with QBO and then field service. If you need healthcare compliance first, this is not the right port yet.
What’s the MCP endpoint?
For QuickBooks Online, agents use https://qbo.toolports.com/mcp with Authorization: Bearer tp_live_… from your Toolports dashboard after you Connect QuickBooks. qbo.toolports.com is the product page for humans, not the paste target. See the docs.
