Why not connect QuickBooks to my agent directly?
You can, but then the connection lives inside that agent, with whatever access it was given. Toolports keeps your connections in one place, lets you set the tools allowed on each connection, and lets you switch or cut off an agent in one move.
Can my agent change my books?
Only where you allow it, and only the operations you pick. Payments, transfers, journal entries, voids, and emails ask for confirmation every time by default.
What if I switch AI providers?
Add the Toolports address to the new agent and sign in. Your QuickBooks connection stays exactly where it is.
How do I cut an agent off?
Switch off its access on Agents & Keys. Every connection it could reach stops working on its next request. To pull just one connection, switch it off for that agent.
I manage several companies. Will my agent mix them up?

How is pricing counted?
